Robust Porter


This is Josh's winning Robust Porter recipe from the July 2012 Porter Meeting.

Batch Size 5.5 gallons
10.0 # American  2 row
1.25 # Munich I
7 oz British Chocolate
7 oz Black Patent
14 oz Crystal 40
1.75 oz East Kent Goldings AA 5.4 (60 min) - I add 25% more hops due to altitude for
bittering only to get correct IBU
0.75 Fuggles AA 5.4 (15 min)
0.75 Fuggles AA 5.4 (0 min)
White Labs WLP090 San Diego Super Yeast w/ starter

Mash at 153F
OG 1.062
FG 1.012
