ZZ Hops (Zion Zymurgist Homebrew OPerative Society) is an AHA-registered homebrewing club based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We usually meet about once a month and hold a club competition focusing on a particular style. We also meet for other fun activities like club brew projects, brewery tours, club camp-outs, etc.
A typical meeting consists of tasting our project beers, followed by judging the month's club competition entries, and ending with some socializing, food, and more tastings. The host usually provides a main dish and everyone else brings a side or dessert. You do not need to have an entry in the club competition in order to participate; just bring an interesting beer or two and be ready to have a good time.
Everyone is welcome whether you're a seasoned homebrewer or brand new to the hobby. It's a great group of people and it's a great way to get feedback on your beers.
